Can you run an offroad H or X pipe? Youll gain a lot more from takin off those cats than you would get from the cat back. But with your mods the way it sits, with slicks you might dip in the 13's with a good 60'. Im thinkin more along the lines of mid/low 14's though.

Thanks P Zero. I plan on getting a catted H one of these days (I live in Cali.). I'm just worried that it will kill the low-end that I've come to crave. I guess if I can get a pipe that's not too large of a diameter, it'll be ok. Come to think of it, I may try to get to the track before I get my new tires--just for the hell of it. I'm real curious right now about what it'll turn. At any rate, thanks again for the reply.

and especially not the '87 and newer GT's, they weigh more than my car which weighs in @ 3600. Even with the best driver in the world you wouldnt see 13's.

If your car weighs 3600 pounds you seriously need to go on the Subway diet.

I wouldn't be suprised to see a stock 5.0 running high 13's at the track.

I don't care if these cars run 15's or 13's...they are respected muscle cars and BADASS! I'd love to have one someday to go with my GTO!

I say plus one, but this is really how I feel: 13.9 and past is the beginning of fast. 14.0 is the beginning of slow.

Im 6'2" and weigh 195, thank you. The GVWR on my car is something along the lines of 3650, havent looked at the door sticker in a while. I dont mind it being heavy, keeps it more stable at higher speeds, which is what Im about. 1/4 mile is fun and all but you wont hit speeds of 140+ in a 350 hp car. If I could hit speeds of 200+ that would make me VERY happy .

And I would be VERY suprised to see a 200 rwhp stang hit 13's. Aside from that I was referring to BONE stock, that includes tires. Like I said before maybe if you roll that sommabish off a cliff youd get a stock 5.0 to hit 13's.

Well if we're talkin fox's, not a snow ***** chance in hell a BONE STOCK fox will run in the 13's, unless you roll that ***** off a cliff. The car is rated at 15.3-15.5 stock. Especially if youre running the stock gatorbacks (**** tire BTW) or any street tire (not DR's), and especially not the '87 and newer GT's, they weigh more than my car which weighs in @ 3600. Even with the best driver in the world you wouldnt see 13's. You guys are talkin over 1 sec difference over reported times by Ford and other sources, not possible. With the mods I have listed before the gear, so I had a 3.08, I was runnin 13.8-13.9, with the 3.27 gear low 13's, and that was open headers, @ 300 ft above sea level.

wtf are you talkin' about man ? [&:] ...we went and had my friend's 92 notch weighed at the begining of summer, it tipped the scales at 3272lbs with him in it (he weighs about 200lbs) and that car is actually heavier than stock with all the mods he has on like subrames, stereo equipment, braces yadda yadda yadda. i've never in my life seen a well driven 5spd (non-covertible) fox run 15s. reported times ??? who the heck takes reported times seriously? according to ford and some magazines an 03/04 cobra shouldn't run better than a mid-high 13.
