I am trying to get my gf to drive the car at the strip at test and tune on Sunday. It looks like she is not going to make it back from sky diving in time. I would go sky diving with her, but I just dropped a ton of money in the car. Damn it!!!!!

Well...this week I'm at Ali Al Salem Air Base Kuwait. I have about 5 weeks left over here and I get to go home...I cant wait.

Been there done that. That is where they flew us into Iraq on a C-130 in 2004. We landed in Al Taqqum (TQ for short). It is finally started to cool down over there now right? I was there in 2003 and 2004. In 03 the temp got to an indicated 151. I was dying.

I caught the tail end of the fight for Baghdad in 03, and the went through Fallujah in Operation Phantom Fury in 2004. Mpswirl I didn't know you are a vet. That is cool.

Ya, its starting to cool of a little bit now. Back in July it was 130+ every day. I thought I was going to die. lol Its only about 100 today.

I was actually here during the war too. Its a lot less stressful this time around. Iraq isnt shooting missles at us anymore. haha Were you here when out patriot hit the missle 2000 feet above the base??? That **** scared the hell out of me...It sounded like it hit like 10 ft away.
