still runnin hot 270*
Well I'm not too mechanically inclined but i know alot of you on this site are. So I have done almost everything within my knowledge to fix this problem but nothing is working. I bought the car a few weeks ago and it was riunnin hot so, I replaced the 190* t-stat with a 160*(installed correctly), installed a black magic extreme fan with toggle switch set up, replaced stock water pump, flushed and burped the system and added water wetter to the coolant, and I'm still runnin extremely hot 260*- 270*. I have no other ideas but to get an aluminum 4-core radiator but, before I spend the money I wanted to know what you guys suggested, as nothing i did seemed to even make a difference. I appreciate anyone who takes the time to even read this. thanx

Does it blow white smoke out of the exhaust? When you open the hood when it's hot, does it smell like coolant?
If neither of those happen, pull the radiator out and run it over to a shop. Have them clean it and make sure it's not clogged. If you leave the fan on all the time, how hot does it get? I have my fan on a switch, it runs at the correct temperature, but at a stop light it will actually start to cool WAY down.
Once you're sure about the head gasket not leaking, do the radiator thing. Just go have it cleaned up. I've had that problem in the past and it was a real pisser.

Make sure air is passing through the radiator. Leaves can clog up between rad and condensor and stop air flow. Also as stated above the collant passages in the radiator core can plug up causing reduced coolant circulation and over heating.
What was the condition of the coolant before changing it? If you can see into the radiator look at the tubes inside there. If there is calicum like deposits around the tubes that is the most likely cause.
