Yes, take your pump, hoses, etc off your car an throw em in the scrap pile... it's as simple as that... just dont plug the holes in your rack... it has to breath... then, if you wanna spend the money, and you dont have to, you can by a rack and pinion from flaming river... your manual steering will be easier because of the gearing, but it isnt necessary...

Yea my power steering is also going to crap too. Power steering fluid all over my motor and everything, makes it look like a pig under there. That flaming river kit is around $480 at summit and I am considering buying that in the near future.
