Driving today and the car goes from running fine, to spuddering (like fuel being cut and throttle stopped responding) and then dead in about 1 minute

2 possible problems
Out of Gas
Fuel pump going bad

I put gas in it and it runs fine.

It was not at empty still a little bit of red on the other side of the needle ;D and I've driven aout 60-70 miles more form this point. My buddy had quite a bit of fuel pump issues on his chevy... Are ford fuel pumps known to go flaky?

If the FP is 11 years old, it might be conking out.

Do you have any mods that would make a higher flow FP something you'd need?

I have a 190 lph FP, but my car is SC'd.
