Yea you need to run 351 specific headers... and I think there are one or two brackets that may need to be modified or replaced also.

If I had to make a choice (especially for my smaller sn95 engine bay...)

302 --> 347 w/ low compression and boost

no replacement for displacement, you can still go low compression and power adder on a 408 or 427!

^^ Hell yes you can. My 88 is getting a roots blower w/ a 351W based motor... not sure if Im just going to bore it to a 357W w/ the roots blower or go ***** out with a 418W and a 6-71 roots. It doesnt have to be streetable so it doesnt matter.

Im just worred about having TOO much power because it will be driven on the street sometimes.... and please dont say there is no such thing as too much power because when your behind the wheel of a gutted LX pushing 700rwhp you wont be saying that lmao

^^^+1, over 500rwhp on a street car is just a waste, imo.
you cant ever get traction with street tires with that kinda power anyway.

It wont be a street car but it will see the street sometimes. Im not building that thing until I finish my 93 though so it wont get a motor for a while. If I find a good deal on a nice 351W block though I will go for it.

Very true, but have you seen how small the engine bay is in an sn95? LoL. I had to put the battery in the trunk just to add my supercharger. And it was a pain in the *** to find a good place for the nitrous solenoids. And from what I hear I may run into clearance issues with a TF manifold. If I drop in a 351 I'm definately going to ahve some spacing issues and I may lose that sleeper look
