5.0 in japan
i have a cute story for you guys...
im new here and im mostly checking out the classic mustang posts but i wanted to tell you alittle about my times here in japan.
we'll this place is covered in skylines and supras and 180s and so on and so forth... my friends have cars with 300+hp in little 4 bangers and 2.0Lt 6's with massive turbos thinking they have the streets in control. i have a friend here who bought an '87 5.0 in england and has:
3.73:1 ring/pinion
limited slip
long tube headers
x-pipe w/flows
cold air intake feeding from the finderwall
that's it!
even with a million miles of wheel spin, he has 1 uped every skyline and silvia he's been put up against!
i figured id tell yall that american muscle has it's hold on ricers even on their home turf!
he's got cam, mickey's, 2800 stall, and massive amounts of torque! i'll keep everyone updated

RE: 5.0 in japan
yea... the 5.0 leans alittle when it's being drifted. but even the all wheel drive evo's that can launch at 7 grand with no wheel spin get a taste of V8
i'll post pix of him lighting up the road as soon as i go to his house again
