Trying to advance my timing and cannot see the timing marks, now on the distributor to advance do I move it clockwise or counter clockwise?

ok so i put the whiteout on 14 degrees, no that dot has to go in the little cirle part of the timing thingy (haha) right?

ok so i found the marks I have 10 - - - 0 - - - - 10 BTD I should advand Above top dead center right? so make my own marks above the 10?

the mark does not go in the circle, but further towards the top of the indicator, where the actual needle is that points to your timing

yeah i got that but do one way it goes only to 10 and the other way to 30, which way should i go?

10 is ATDC
30 is BTDC

Yeah i set it to 14 ping, 12 ping, so i moved it to 10 going to see tomorrow if it pings
I'm wondering if the balancer is off?
