well if u are goin to put on heads yes , the 87^ didnt need to be notched they came with better pistons, and i would suggest not notching ur pistons unless ur a mechanic b/c it requires taking them out of the block whihc means disassembliing the whole thing, which if u have it done cost over a 1000 and then nothing them is like 100
your best bet is to do what i m doin find a 87^ block and put heads on that, it will save money and time.

but wouldn't it cost me near the same too buy an engine, have it put in (cuz im too stupid to know how to do it), then notch it? lol

Anybody seen.. or heard of anybody using these? i never heard of anybody modifying e6's before till i found these.

acutally no, b/c u have to take the whole motor out to disassemble it then it has to be take apart notcthed put back together than back in teh block it will cost u well over 2000 dollars just for that, as far as a motor, a stock 87^ block which will be all u need will run no more than 5-6 hundred i m gettin mine from a buddy for 300
