louder

ive heard that cutting your exhaust off after the mufflers actually makes it louder..is there any truth in that? is there any ways to make my car louder without new mufflers? i have a dynomax catback exhause (im pretty sure anyway, it was on the car when i got it)

It does. I have dumped flows and no cats and it's pretty damn loud.

Yes, dumping it makes it louder, and it also makes you feel like a refueler. You will probably smell some fumes. Personally I like my muffs dumped on my GT cuz nice setup for GT do not exist unless you change the rear bumper, on my LX I wish I had tailpipes. Anyhow when I switched out my stock 4cat h-pipe for a hi-flow 2 cat x-pipe I heard not a tremendous difference unlike when I cut my tailpipes off. Anyways I hope my long novel helps you out.
