the shakes!

the shakes!
my car pooped today.
2 things happened, 1 a little worse than the other
1, my speedo cable snapped (a few minutes ago)
2, my car has the shakes! lol, whenever i shift to a high gear while going slow it starts to almost violently shake the car, im HOPING its a missfire cause my #4 plug cable keeps burning against my headers but does anyone have any idea of what else it might be?

hrm, more info... Where does the shaking feel like its coming from, like do you feel it on your butt, in the wheel, in the shifter, or all over the car sutch as stuttering or rocking?
