if u take off teh mesh on the mass air meter pipe would it do anything bad cause mines got a rip on the end?

it doesnt do anythin like more air cause i read that ford put that because they were overprotective on the mass meter?

take it off, no biggie. My C&L meter didnt even have mesh.
