qualitydrag launch springs?
i know they can lower your et by .2-.4 tenths of a second. but do they lower your car at all or do they improve ride quality? i want to lower it but if it just sits alittle lower but dramatically improves my q/m times then i definitely want them. ya feel me?

If you go with front drag springs the car will turn like crap. So if you drive on the streets you probably wont like the way the car truns. My other drag car has springs on the front and the car sits about an 1 to 2 lower. Any throttle at all and the front end rises about 4 to 6 inches. Better weight transfer, you could pick up 1 to 2 ths by this. Everycar is different .
Ride height is about the same as stock springs. However, because the springs are softer than stock, ride height may be more affected by the weight of the vehicle than with factory springs. Full-weight street cars typically sit 1/4 to 1/2 inch lower than stock. Light weight race cars will sit a little higher.

yea i wonder if i threw in a strut tower brace and sub frame connectors it would make up for it. thats what ive heard that the front springs are actually taller than stock but are a lot softer to be able to throw the front end up. will this affect traction to though? i could actually spin more because of this transfer of weight, or maybe less spin, well thanks.
but i really dont do a lot of performace needed turning, i have had lots of bad experiences taking corners too fast and loosing it, so unless its a windy road i dont really bother.

I've got Eibach drag springs all four corners on my '88 GT but I use the Stang for drag racing only. didn't really notice whether it lowered the car any, but I don't really see a big difference in ride height. Combined with 90/10 front struts, they really help transfer the weight to the rear on the launch. I would not recommend you get drag springs for a street driven car as they will negatively affect the handling of the car, especially when cornering. You can get other springs to lower the car that won't have this negative effect on street handling but you need to be careful that you don't mess up your wheel and tire clearances when you lower the car this way. also need to be concerned about ground clearances for the mufflers and pipes too.
