I'm gonna thread jack you cuz you got your answer.. I saw in my new Stang magazine that they increased the timing in a project 5.0 to 16* from stock and only gained like 5 hp. I thought timing was worth more than that?

from stock generally means 7-9* .... and yes 1-2hp per * is common to a stock motor
