Intermittent No Start and Power Cut Out - HELP
Hi All,
First time poster here...... come from a "mustang family" and checking in with the experts here for my brother.
1994 5.0 Manual
Car has been giving what seemed like fuel delivery probs (cut outs during normal driving and random no start issues) its cranking, but no start.... he will then come back the next day and car will always start! HAd it at an indy shop and the local Ford dealer a few times and they can not recreate the prob and can't find anything wrong? They have performed fuel system tests etc......
I'm thinking it could be electrical??? He's really getting confused (as am I) as to what could be the issue. Car has only about 80k miles
Any ideas??? Where to to look for an electrical prob? or could it be something else common to the year/model/engine?
Thanks so much for any input in advance

Welcome![8D]
Have you checked ground to the fuel pump? Have you dropped the tank and inspected the pickup, pump, and fuel filter? I've heard of the plastic basket which holds the pickup in place breaking free and allowing the pickup to slide around causing intermittent cutouts, i's start with a code test, then move to electrical connections/sensors and source voltage at pump, then to dropping the tank! Good Luck
