Yeah it does... Its as if they are telling people to just take some wheels. The socket method works well, you just might need a few of the same sockets...

You can try the socket method, OR run up to your local parts store, (Sears) and buy a set of wheel lock removers. Works great, and it comes with three different sizes.

your local tire shop should have the right tool to take them off, and be able to sell you a new set right there installed.
