I did a swap a while back from AOD to 5 speed and want to tidy up a few loose ends and make it as if my car rolled out the factory with a 5 speed in it. I had kept the A9P (AOD) computer in it and did not get a T5 wiring harness so the Netrual switch was never connected. I now picked up an A9L (5 speed) computer and the T5 wiring harness, I was doing some reading and they say you can fry your computer if you don't also chage the O2 sensor harness because they are also different? Does anyone know anything about this?

You may want to check this experience regarding their differences....yep...you could fry a few.....

i don't see why they would use different o2's since they have nothing to do with the tranny. all tho they might be different, if they are i want to know why

The O2's are the same, the difference is in the harness....they are different, check the part numbers.......

I think the only diffrence between the 2 are the neutral safty switches.The 02 's should be the same .the standerd trans i believe is on the clutch pedal were as the auto is mounted to the trans there would be 3 or 4 xtra wires for the switch and the reverse lights.
