Default weird problem when hot

this only happens when the car gets driven for a while and its warm, when its cold i can mash the gas and there is no pinging, but when it gets fully warm and i mash it , it will ping, i run 93 all day long, should i drop the stock thermostat see if it keeps it cooler, or should i back timing off a bit when the car gets fully warm like thid, i really can't adjust it to a certain degree cause when the cam was put in it wasnt degreed i belive but it runs great now i just can't peg it to floor, so do you think the thermostat would help keep it cooler or should i just back timing off

cam doesn't have to be degree'd in as long as the gears where lined up...so set the time at 10 to start....a cooler stat will wart of some denation

pro..miles? I'm sure if they installed a new cam they put in a new timing chain I think

LOL quik, don't ever assume anything. Miles? Maybe it has a lot and there is alot of carbon build up in the heads.

alot of stangs with over 150k miles on it will have this problem. it can be a internal problem in the engine. if it has a computer take it to a dyno and they will tell you whats wrong with it
