Get a bottle of Simple Green. Cover distributer and cover MAF with a plastic bag and zip tie the bag to them. Then spray simple green over your ENTIRE motor bay like a mad man. Let it sit for 5-10 mintues and than powerwash that bitch down. If no powerwash, a hose will work fine too. Than let everything try and cool down and spray tireshine on all plastic, rubber pieces and it will look like brand new again.

Well, I dont see a problem with that BUT the simple green/purple power leaves behind a slick film if not washed off. Im sure it would go away eventually but Im not sure if you will have a problem with that.

Well he said the car is in his garage so hes not going to be spraying the hose in there... I would just get a bucket of water and a rag and try to clean it like that with the simple green, purple power, etc. Water will evaporte or if you want to be really **** you can put a towl or something under the motor bay when your cleaning it.
