Removing engine/dissasembly?
Is it easier to disasemble the top half of the engine out of the car or is it not worth the trouble of pulling the motor? Basically I need to pull the heads/cam/rockers/headers off my car to swap them out and was wondering if I should pull the engine to do it or do most people do it in car? Also, any tips or advice would be appreciated. Starting tomorrow.
Thanks

Leave it in... Realy don't need to pull it unless your getting into the block... If your doing long tube headers you will need to undo the motor and tranny mounts and lift the engine to put those in...
i dont know about the cam though... i am taking my engine apart right now. i just have to take off the passenger side head's then i'm gonna yank the motor. The manifolds were easy to get off. Fuel rails were a bit of a b1tch to get off, but otherwise it's just about loosening bolts. The cam however would be easier if you yank the motor i would say. But i'm sure it could be done. here check this out..
