Hi everyone. I own a 90 5.0L GT with the T5 trans. I had to pull it out to have it rebuilt (lost second gear). So I painted the bellhousing and trans with some black BBQ paint. The trans was painted chevy orange. So black looks better. My question is this: The trans mount that bolts to the tailshaft(the rubber mount thing that bolts to the cross member). What is the bolt size/pitch/thread? I lost the two bolts when I painted it so I need to know what to get to bolt it back to the trans. Please help if you know.

This is my first mustang and I have a lot of learning to do with it. So, any help is appreciated. Thanks.

 

go to Sears or Autozone and get a pitch gauge, $3

 

thanks. I found one of the bolts though. Did a quick matchup at the local hardware store. 1/2x13 was the size. I should be getting the trans back in tonight or tomorrow after work.
