My friend's coupe is a 4cyl conversion. He used rubber hose to run the full lines from the driver's side over. He looped the ps rack to delete the power steering. It has no a/c stuff. It still has the 7.5" rearend and it's a 5 speed. It's still an EFI car. It still has full stock interior. It has no fiberglass parts on it. The car weighs 2680 without him in it.

Another friend has a carbed 393 in his coupe. It has no a/c, no power steering, no backseat, a single layer of carpet, race seats and a fiberglass cowl hood. With a full nitrous bottle in it, 8pt. rollbar and his 200+lb fat *** in it, we had to add 80lbs of weigh at WFC9 in St. Louis to make weight for Wild Street which is 3000lbs. So that's 2920lbs with driver. It's right at 2700lbs without him.

With fiberglass parts, you should be able to get that thing under 2700lbs easy.

People should stop being ignorant, you really act like your gonna drive your stang out somewhere to meet somebody on the forum to take them on some twistie roads. Wooooo, just because one car is heavier and can handle better. IMO, The sn95 drivers could care less about weight, i think my car is luxury looking actually! I have everything in my car, nothing is ripped out besides the air silencer. I still kick some *** and im driving a fully loaded 5.0

Do what you do, gut it out or keep it. Just stop bitching about how heavy the sn95's are because we are only heavier by about 200 pounds. I can easily catch up by ripping some stuff out of my car and making it look half ***, but i like when i can fit some people in my car and they can enjoy it than rather sitting on some damn metal in the back.

Honestly, when in the world has anybody ever took their car and another mustang out on some backroads and raced? If so, you shouldn't be driving anymore because your stupid enough to do 100+ on some backroads just because you can outdrive somebody on backroads. Stupid **** like that will have you turn your car over and smack your damn skull across a tree or on the road and then you will be learning how to pick up a fork to eat again.

This little feud is like the same little bitchy fight about imports and domestics. Drive what you drive and do what you want.

u guys are really acting stupid first off, this is a mustang site, we are all mustang fans, we should not be hating on eachother, just chevy, adder ur pretty cool but u need to calm down, sskiller i like ur vert but u really dont have that much done to it, now as far as the comment where other than mustang guys noone likes our foxes, thats complete bs, i hear from a so many chevy guys around hear that the sn 95 looks like a chick car, now as far as the weight my friend has a 86 notch with the 5.0 and w/ him in it it was 2900 lbs, and he has everything stock, so 2600 lbs is very attainable, guys the point here is to hate on chevy and rice burners, not other mustangs man u guys **** a lot of people off and u do give mustang guys bad names, so just calm down
