ok i know the black, orange and purple go to the distributer, and the black goes to black. but does orange go to the orange/black or does the purple go to the orange/black? thanks

 

what the hell are you talking about?

 

sorry need to be more specific. there is a wire harness between the box and the distributer that i dont have, the wires comming out of the distributer are solid black, black with a orange stripe and black with a white stripe. the wires out of the box that go to the distibuter are orange, purple and black, which one goes to which one.

 

What is "the box"? I thought you meant the ignition but not sure?
