i re;ize that know that you mention it. obvioulsy our clutch wasn't adjusted prokerly (sure you knew that) i would go into this alittle more but i'm WAAAAAAAAAY to drank

damn bud light is gettin to me so i'll reply to this when i can stop seeing three of nt monitors adn key bords

twisted, reverser should grind unless you put in into 1,2 or 5, reverse does not have a syncros thats why it grinds (little t-5 trick) thats why the owners manual said to go from 1st to reverse with you disengaging the clutch, and yes some times asjusting the clutch better will help (clutch stops spinning faster)

i agree tho check and readjust the clutch first (always to the free things before you spend money

but my money is on the tranny being almost ready for a rebuilt

94, I respect your expertise, and always read your tranny related posts. But I was talking about grinding into reverse after having put the tranny into another gear first. It says so in my original post.

so....I'm down here in south Florida grinding my t-5, and deciding what to do about it. would be very interested in finding out about pricing a rebuild!!!
