ORIGINAL: r.barn

valve covers and brackets were painted with Autozone High Temp "Aluminum" color paint.

very happy with how that stuff works.

TKO is great, but need to get my adjustabel clutch cable/quadrant installed to help
with clutch release.
Awsome, I have been using that stuff for a while now also but your paint came out more flat than mine does for some reason. I have done two manifolds, headers, brackets, etc. with that stuff and all came out well. Have no installed yet. How has the paint held up with installation and stuff? How are you prepping them? I was scuffing them, wash, scuff, total prep (to get rid of dust, grease, dirt, oil, etc.), wash and than paint.

yeah, just cleaned and scuffed everything up a little
was carefull to keep hands clean and not bump a bunch of stuff around when
re-installing to keep it all looking nice.

They make a "Cast Aluminum" color too.
To be honest I used both and couldnt really tell any kind of difference
I think the Cast Alum. color is more of a flat or semi-gloss finish of the same color

Gotta have a/c in Texas......... you roll down the window here in the summer and its
like opening the door to an oven and saying "ahhhh that's better", lol
