Default exhausting questions

getting into my new 5.0. while pulling the trans, i had to pull the h pipe. my car has long tube headers, brand unknown, with a h pipe and flow masters. the whole system is showing its age. i was thinking it might be a good time to put a new exhaust on after i have the trans. rebuilt. although $ might be tight, i think i want to go with a stainless system. the best price i have seen is on a ford racing system model m5230m51, for under 300.00. anybody heard of this system. i am sure there are much better (and much more expensive) systems out there. do all long tube headers end at the same length, or will i have to order my exhaust to my specific brand of headers. how would i find out what i have? once again thanks.

Default RE: exhausting questions

u dont need a stainless steel system, just when you get headers get them ceramic coated. the long tubes will al end at the same length. as long as they are for your year car, they all are the same dimesions. good luck!
