nope the 351m(midland) not modified and 400 is a tall deck design based on the 351c but with a big block bell housing bolt pattern

I'm not questioning you but, is there anywhere I can read up on this. I would like to learn a little more.

Well ill be d@mned, check out wikipedia.org under 351 cleveland. Apparently the windsor and cleveland do share the same bell housing. I stang corrected, i guess you learn something new every day.

only real draw back to a street built cleve is that the cam bearing get oil before the mains but a simple mod fixes all that

There is a way to do Cleveland heads on the Windsor block. Has to do with drilling some water holes in the deck (I think) but you need the correct pistons.
Do some google search searching.......
