Just reading a story in a magizine today about a stocker (NHRA) who can't use as much cam as you have and the car picked up a bunch with long tube step step headers and you X pipe.
Building cars take lotsa patience. I'll put it this way, I don't have the 'dead-end' job but it has still taken me nearly 2 years to get my '84 as done as it is. I took it to the strip in 10/06 just so I could get it teched and weigthed.
On target with the pounds and I passed tech. I think first pass maybe 2/07.......
You must have an angel someplace.........

Thanks Tinman. I've been tinkering with the car since 3/06, and I hope to have it on the road sometime by feb. I still need a tranny, driveshaft, radiator, and all the other goodies needed to make the car run. I would really like to get an accurate hp rating for everything that's been done to the engine. I have the recipt handy if it's needed. I'm dying to know what kind of horse power to brag about to all the ricers around..........
