Does anyone know where I can order the 5.0 spindles from for an 89 lx? Finally got my 302 and my callipers dont fit. the car was originaly a 2.3 and I got all the front brakes for a 5.0.

The only new spindles I have seen were in one of the mustang magazines and was part of a racing suspension build up. They were real expensive though.

that sucks! I got 400 in just the front brakes for the conversion and the las thing I need are the spindles....

Check out some auto parts stores. Also look into junk yards. Get some off of a 5.0.

Really hard to come by. I work at advance auto and the only way we can get them is if we order them through our "junk yard " I think its called advance auot salvage or something, you gotta call up and see if they have it, even then sometimes they are hard to find. Might wanna try that, cuz it is a popular car, and advance is the 2nd largest parts dealer in the US, so its worht a shot...BUT, they'll prolly be used, but in decent shape.
