Im hoping thats true or that is just runs like crap or just not its best, see b/c the guy that supposedly built my buddy's car are claiming it will run 12's but when I asked him what the compression ratio is he had no idea. Its notch that was originally a 4cyl it has pretty much just a trickflow track heat top end with a supposedly built AOD, with bbk shorty headers, suspension the front might be the original 4cyl as well as the back but i think he said it has some suspension work but all it looks like it has is the summit rear control arms...i just cant see this thing running 12's not with out some dr at the least

I may be dumb, but how can the computer control shifting on an AOD, its a mechanical tranny that works all shift points and firmness with the detent cable (kick down)
The AOD-E may react different, but the AOD shouldn't.
Please chime in if I am wrong.

The problem is how the computer reacts to the rpm drop of a shift.
fuel and timing strategies are slightly different.
If you have an auto, take the time to find an auto computer. You will be happier with it in the long run.
