See the darkened areas on the outsides, that's where the problems start. If yours looks like that, I would start there.

Its a 94 no i didnt scan it but i replaced the coils plugs wireboots and the housing and it appears to be fixed

For the 100 dollars you will spend fixing this POS(I have the right to call it anything I want, I still have bad dreams of the quad4) get a pinto filler up with gasd and back into the grand am full speed...
Prob coil/cap problem. I have also seen bad injectors(Be careful they use low imped. injectors=2ohm)
Crank sensors like to crack under extreme heat also...110 mph you're lucky the waterpump didn't jump off the engine and run away!
