Default Big cubes...

alrightty then. picked up my 4 banger 2day and i can't wait to rip it apart. here are a couple pics. this car was way to clean to pass up w/ only 62k orig miles on it for 2 grand. no rust, no body damage of any kind, and the interior is mint. plus it's got a FACTORY sunroof. anyhow, i keep tossing around different engine combos around and talking to some people but i can't decide so i need some help. this is what i've come up with so give me your 2 cents.
-DSS level 20 351W block w/main girdle
-Either CHP or Bennett Racing Pro Street all forged 408 or 427 stroker kit (this one is the one i'm having the most trouble deciding)
-Bennett Racing Trick Flow Twisted Wedge heads w/stage 3 port and polish
-Extrude honed Trick Flow R 351W intake
-Trick Flow cam 236/248 duration@.050", .574"/.595" lift
-80mm holley TB
-MSD 6AL
-BBK long tubes
-Flowmaster amer. thunder
-yadda yadda, all the usual bolt ons
-Tremec tko600
-8.8 rear w/ auburn/ eaton(????) posi and 3.90 gears
-full suspension makeover

Basically trying to get a combo thats drivable, long lasting and puts down ignorant power the pavement. this car won't be a trailer queen but won't be driven daily(weekend warrior)
so tell me your opinion!

Sounds good. Why swap to a stick? Why not go with a built C4 with a trans brake? It would be better for the track.
