Default computer codes, BAP, MAF sensor question...

i have a couple questions that have been bothering me for days now...

first off:
this is my BAP. (click for big)

it is disconnected becuase it will only run without it. with it plugged in it dumps gas (black smoke) and runs horrid.

my question is, is there supposed to be a tube connecting to the left (where that circle thing is)?? if so to where??

second question:
that sensor near the MAF sensor (on the intake), not the one on the intake the one one the side wall...

i tested the wires for power becuase some of the wire is stripped, sorry, voltometer yet.... the results:
wire running : key on
pink - blue stripe = off : off
black - yellow stripe = off : off
red - black stripe = on : on
yellow - blue stripe = dim : off

third question:
i ran my codes and got these...

with my BAP disconnected
KOEO: 22 81 82 - 22
KEOR: 98 22 -

with my BAP connected
KOEO: 81 82 81 82 - 22 22
KOER: 4? (car idles up and down and... well runs like crap.)

any suggestions or ideas about how to go about this??

fourth thing:
my illumination for my dash stopped working, the blinkers and check engine light work... but nothing else. i think my dimmer switch is fine, any way i can force the lights on or will one burn bulb stop them all from lighting?

If you are MAF, whick you are, it should be unplugged, wich makes it a BAP. On speed density, it is a MAP and need to be plugged in. The rest, Im not sure of. Get a Haynes manual.
