So I was reading in Muscle Mustangs and they had an article about S197 mustangs. They took a stock 5 speed and a slightly modified auto and put on some bolt ons to get it into the 12's. They used et streets and a pro driver to keep it consistent, but basically with an aluminum drive shaft, some weld pro stars, a cold air intake, and a new tune it ran 12.50's consistently. So my question is, with rear control arms, torque box reinforcement, some light rims and dr's, an aluminum driveshaft, a 350 horse motor and a 100 shot of nitrous could my car run 12's? I wanna do this with a full interior. Thoats pretty simple stuff as well, basically I am going to rebuild my short block with forged pistons, holley top end kit (maybe with a cam that has more overlap for that wicked idle), and a nx 100 shot. I am trying to make a plan for my car before I start modding because i have seen too many people go crazy with there mods and get no where w/out a plan. Let me know what you guys think!
