Default new motor mounts

im looking at getting some new motor mounts for my motor as well as a tranny mount. i see some mounts are polygraphite and others are polyurathane. the guy on ebay selling the polygraphite mounts said "Polygraphite has graphite particles in the polyurathane which help to eliminate much of the squeeking that is associated with polyurethane." true?? do they last as longand are they as strong?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...MakeTrack=truethese are the ones im looking at. half the price of energy suspension mounts. i was going to go with solids but a buddy said it wasnt a good idea[:@]

I'm running the prothane as well. I wouldn't worry about the graphite impregnated motor/tranny mounts. Those are more important when you're swapping poly mounts into your suspension components...that's when you can get squeaks.

Nothing wrong with solids. The car is going to shake a little bit more, but if it's not a DD it's not really an issue. No delay in putting the torque to the ground when the motor isn't spinning around the mounts. Plus, they're cheaper

it is my daily driver tho. i think ill get the ones off ebay. not for the anti-squeek ability they MAY have but because they are cheaper then ones from energy suspension.

i have a torque link to hold the motor in place so that helps with the torque. now im afraid ill need a new hood with these mounts. i have the stock rubbers on there now and with the intake spacer my hood and upper manifold hit.

They might cause clearance issues.... My Street heat w/ 1" spacer rubs on my stock hood (going w/ 1.5" cowl soon).
