My car does it too, and no its not a intake or vaccum leak.
It makes a high pictched whistling noise similiar toa turboat 1/4 throttle but any more than that and it goes away.
I garantee its the bigger TB and intake making the noise.

Some of thelarger TB's are known to have a whistle.
BBK has the worst reputation, but I have also heard that the newer models are ok.
As mentioned in the links above...
Sometimes drilling a hole in the throttle plate or raising the idle helps.
Others, like me, just say to hell with it and try to get used to the sound. Mine isn't so loud that it bothers me... much.

But, keep in mind that Ford invested a huge amount of resources into the development of the 5.0L Mustang setup. They had plenty of time to check for things like 'whistling TB blade'.
When we mix and match aftermarket parts, we assume a certain amount of risk with regard to quality.
The stock setup shouldn't cause any whistling problems.

That hole inside the stock throttle body,... Mine had it too! I just replaced mine today with a 70mm throttle along with the egr plate and Trick Flow Intake and the same noise happens.

I have the same noise, whistling at 1/4 throttle, i recently installed a cai and
professional products 70mm and it makes noise, im sure its not a vaccume leak
and i gasket matched the tb to intake "stock" and i like the difference.
