I have a 1983 GT with a newer 5.0 in it. I swapped a new radiator and fan on, and then pulled it out into the driveway and put water in the rad. I shut it off while filling it, and then when I started it back up it was running horrible. Almost like it was out of gas. It was low so I put $15 bucks into it. It ran ok for a minute or two, then went back to running bad.

It idles fine, but when u try to rev it it acts like its not getting gas, and revs up a few hundred RPM, then dies out. Im thinking it was just a cooincidence with it happening right after the radiator.

What should I check out in it?

First make sure all your vacuum hoses are hooked up. Second, make sure the accelerator pump in the carb is spraying fuel when you flip the throttle.

Sounds like vacum leak or a block in the fuel line.
