K Member Help
well i decided i'm going to refresh my engine this winter. while i have the engine outi decided that would be the time for me to install a new k member for weight savings and more room. i have the rear supsension complete but just cc plates/bilstein shocks/h&r springs up front. i want to get a whole kit w/ the k member, a arms, coil overs. at first i thought it would be a matter of just the best deal...but i found a lot of people saying stay away from d&d, qa1, and one about granetelli. which sucks because those were the ones i found a few kits on ebay (i know
) from about 600-700 shipped. upr is on ebay as well...i've seen mixed results about them. obviously i don't want fittment issues etc. ....and i definitely don't want my geometry way out of wack and the fing tires hitting the fenders etc. looks like the most praise is pa racings k member and aje (anthony jones engineering). anyone have any other info. what about mild steel vs. chromoly? would i need a bumpsteer kit? how about the best place to buy either pa or aje? i'm not one to cheap out on my stang but obviously i'd still like the best bang for my buck. i'm going to call both of them tomorrow to see what they say. i'd really like to find a place that sells a kit. it's pretty late so i'll probably be bumping the hell out this tomorrow and longer if i need to
thanks guys
btw which springs rates should i choose. i originally set up the car to handle well...but now i live 15 mintutes from a drag strip so changes are being made. basically how big of a difference is it between the drag (200lbs) and the street (300lbs) spring rates. i'll most likely get the drag but i'd like to hear some suggestions
btw this was the ebay page...granetelli's at the bottom

they make some really good stuff...i have their panhard bar and lower control arms...but very expensive. it's pretty much a toss up between pa and aje but i'd like some suggestions and hopefully someone knows where to get a good deal (hopefully on a complete kit)
