hey guys im planning on going with either the gt40 or gt40p heads and im also converting to carb with an edelbrock manifold and i wanted to know which cam i should go with?

i think somebody has jumped on the trickflow band wagon ever since he got his trickflow cam..lol j/k. your right though. it would be a good cam but i think something with a little more durration would favor his setup good being as he is using a carb. JMO though. maybe call up or emailcamshaft inovations and see what jay allen recomends.

nope, still don't like their heads, but I like the cam and the intake.

the ford alphabet cams are decent cams. just the grinds are a little outdated. were do you want your rpm operating rangeto be?

Everyone is going to recommend a TFS stage 1 cam or FRPP E cam or Jay allen custom cam. Crane cams has thisone thats like the E303 but emissions friendly http://cranecams.com/?show=browsePar...tType=camshaft

If you are going to have the gt40's worked get in touch with camshaft innovation.com and check on springs and a custom cam. It will cost a little more but the extra usable hp will be worth it. Good Luck.
