TFS stage 1 cam
AFR 185 heads
Trick flow Street heat intake.
My question is wouldn't the AFR 165's be a better match for that intake?

165's will make a nasty n/a motor... 185's will work nicely with boost

Sorry, yeah it's N/A 302 in a 90 GT. Right now he's got ported cobra upper and lower and ported E7's.The shop this guys going to sold him on the 185's and told him he'll see 350 Rwhp.He will also need his pistons notched to clear the larger valves as well I believe. I would have sold him the 165 competitions.

he will have way too much head for a n/a 302 if he goes 185 plus he will need to notch his pistons the 165's were rumored to make 400 hp at teh crank with stock cam
i dont kno if this is true but its all i needed to buy em

Good. It's exactly what I told him. I was just checking with some moreexperienced people to make sure I didn't screw up what I said. I told him it would be a dog until he built up some RPM to push the air in those heads.
