what needs to be done to a flat tappet style block to make it work with a roller setup

special roller lifters.. or i think you can drill and tap it for the spider tray but thats not recommended, b/c i believe you will lose oil pressure or something like that, honestly the best thing to do is just hold out and get a roller block or just use a custom ground flat tappet cam

if you have a 92 and up block than you are ok and all you need to do for the 92-92 is tap it for the spider tray, all blocks b4 92 had shorter lifter bores thats why you lose oil if you use the spider tray on them
