Default Strut tower brace- worth it or not?

Is there any real benefit to a strut tower brace?
Also will one clear my Edelbrock Performer intake manifold?

definately helped the front end twisting problem I had in my 87. I am pretty sure it will clear your intake. I had a TFS Street with a 1" spacer and the strut tower brace rubbed my intake alot. So I took it off and sold it. I did notice that it was gone after I took it off too.

My car doesnt handle corners very well at all. A STB will help that though, right? Is that the twisting your describing?

It is def worth it! I would go with the MM though! It bolts to the pinch points on the firewall instead of just the back of the firewall! I have seen thatstyle rip the metal out on the holes that are drilled for it to mount! JMO
