Performance Chip

RE: Performance Chip
How modified is the motor?
Most of the chips you order will be a waste of money. They do very little.
A personal tuner like tweecer, pms, or aem will be more helpful, ASSUMING you are willing to learn how to tune.
If not, then a dyno tune is the best option.

i would get a tweecer (or something like it) and learn how to use it. thenwhen you do mods in the future, you can just re-tune yourself instead of having to send a chip away to be re-burned.

RE: Performance Chip
+1 to the above posts. If you're running a stock motot, then a chip is a waste of money. If you're running mods (major mods, not a CAI or underdrive pulley kit) and you plan on making more changes then again, a chip is a waste of money. If you have an engine with decent mods and you are not going to make any more changes, then you can go with a chip.
Much easier to get a dyno tune. Even better if you can get a tweecer and do it yourself, but that takes some dedication.
