Default 94 GT 5.0 - What to do to it???

Whats up guys. My friend just finally got an american car. he was stuck on imports and finally i got him to buy a 94 5.0 GT.
So ne way, Hes got 1000 to spend on this thing for perf parts.

It's Black, automtatic, Aftermarket Hood, Lowered 2in, and a flowmaster Catback.

So the question is what are the best mods he can do for 1000???
He's pretty set on some Nitrous, and i told him 3.73's.

So what do you guys think? Any info is appreciated.

if it's an auto I'd go 4.10 gears, but nitrous would be good, just don't go over like 125shot could do both for a little over a grand, and be faaaaaaaasssssssssst!

Why would you do 4.10's instead instead of 3.73's?? just curious

And if he does a shot it'll be a 100 shot.

It has 70,000 miles on it. The kit hes looking at has 50-75-100 jets. Maybe the 75 jets would be more realistic...

First off, to hell w/nitrous. Finish the exhaust, including headers... then like vfast said, maf, gears, and I'd even get a pro 5.0 shifter with the gears. But I'd go w/3.73 gears.
