It is not the spring rate, it is the springs rubbing in the seat. Some bushing will fix it, if you can get them to work with your springs.

I think here is where not doing your homework has got you.......what you need at this point is to buy a few sets of springs with different rates.. also get some adjustable shocks will help damp'n things some..I hope you have a set of camber plates on car with those coil overs

ok heres what i got...
I bought the d&d motorsports front end kit. Tubular K member, Tubular A arms, and the coilover kit. Like i said im not to possitive on the spring rate but i know they gave me the option of street and drag, and i choose drag for some reason. also the option of 12" and 14" and i believe i got the 14" not sure it was about a year ago. I know i should know these things.. but anyways i have KYB AGX shocks in the front, with MM motorsports CC plates. Ok so you say they are known for noise? everytime i hit a slight bump it sounds as if the shock is going to go through the shock tower. When i took it to get it aligned about 8 months ago. The guy complemented me on the instalation and told me i did a good job on it. But i have no idea why it would make as must noise as it does. Also when i turn the wheel you can here the coil springs binding or doing somethin..

this is cause by the 14" spring..your set up is for launches..period..not day to day use....so you need to buy 1 or 2 more sets thier are tons of different spring rates....so on a dd car something maybe something close to stock rate for the street as you can adjust hieght

I could but I won't..reason your ask?..because manufactures vary so much...this would be best leftto the people you buy from. this way if they are wrong you can send them back for a set better suited for you..
