Default Suspension

Looking to stiffin up my 95 and just started as of yesterday. Ordered a strut tower brace and need to know where to go from there. I know some people have an exact order of what to replace and when so does anyone have any suggestions in order of where to start?

shocks, struts, springs, rear control arms, k member, subframe connectors

it all depends on what you plan on doing with the car.. is it a street car, street/strip, road course, drag only... etc

Definitely do subframe connectors and control arms. I've heard from a few sources that strut tower braces on SN95s do nothing to make them more rigid... I read the only thing it did for the '96 Cobra was cost it 8hp.

the rear is usually the best place to start, and i say the same how did it cost horsepower, the suspension only affects travel dynamics not motor.

Subframes
U/L rear control arms
shocks/struts

Like Adder said, the direction you take will determine which components to use....street, drag, etc....

Car will be mainly a street car, but will be raced from time to time. On a side note, also thought about putting some underdrive pulleys on but heard its hard on the battery or something. Some guy here in columbus who owns a performance shop told me that. Any truth to it? If so, is there a way around it?

underdrive pulleys are a lose/lose situation as far as i'm concerned. i'm not knockin anyone that has them, but...
do you really want your alternator spinning LESS while your running?
do you really want your water pump spinning SLOWER ?

just things to consider when your deciding. the only gain you will see is MAYBE 3-5HP at the crank, nothing at the wheels.
