I don't know his 60'. I think it was just in the 1.6 range. But he would have left spraying. There is no other way to us.

LOL $200 car, free motor, free tranny, free cam, $250 NX kit, $100 intake, $25 tires, $10 fuel pump, $150 wheels. The Taylor wires he pulled out of the trash can at a friends house. The stock intake elbow, TB, etc. he pulled off a parts car for under $100. The rest was gaskets, spark plugs, etc. he gets at employee cost from friends. This guy is one of the nicest guys you'll ever meet. He always helps everyone out and never had anything for himself back in high school. So when he finally started asking some of us to help him find good deals on things, we really hooked him up.

I had paid $50 for the motor as a core out of a wrecked Mustang. All I wanted was a standard bore block. I literally kicked it out of the bed of my truck and it sat in my shop for almost a year. I gave it to him for free since he always helped me out. He cleaned the mud out of the head where I kicked it into the dirt and installed it. It's not an $1100 car because he was trying to prove a point. It's an $1100 car because that was his budget.

My '84 hatch has still got factory 'K' member, manual steering/brakes and has lotsa stuff stripped out of it and it's 2860# with my self on board.
I would think that a notch could be 150-200# less.........

One guy at my local track has a fully gutted 89 notch with GT40 iron heads, E cam, Explorer intake, Explorer TB, exhaust, T5, 4.10s, MT Et Streets mounted on Phonedial wheels, NX plate kit and a FULL MAXIMUM MOTOR SPORTS SUSPENSION (from camber plates to control arms)
Fastest I ever seen him go is an 11.8 @115 on the motor and 10.6's with a 150 shot. He may have gone faster than that on other nights but thats what I seen him go.

Crazy BUDGET CAR. Looks like **** but goes like stink !
