What is a "core" and "core charge"?
i'm looking at a remanufactured 351w on ebay from a place really close to my house, but i have a question... on the page towards the bottom it says
"Shipping is free for initial deliver & core return for all zip codes east of the mississippi river. core must be returned within 30 days of a core charge will be accessed."
so whats a core?

If you can't give them a CORE back, you do not get your core fee given back!
Say you get a Battery, new one. They charge your 100 for the batt and 10 for a core fee. You get the 10 back if you give them a old battery!

^ +1, I'd find out how much there "core" charge is, because sounds tome all your buying is a remanned 351 that was someone else's junk.... I'd be very cautious buying remanned blocks. Has the block been blueprinted and balanced? What's the guarantee? Does this compnay have any references? etc. Have you looked at DSS by any chance? You can get a complte shortbolock with a warranty that has been machined, blueprinted, balanced, and decked for around $2000.

i work at autozone, core means the old one, if you dont have a 351 then you dont have a core so you dont get refunded the core $$. core = means the product is remanufactured, not brand new.
