Bad idle problems!!
Hey fellas, I got a 92gt and I have been in a bit of a jam for like the past month or so. Im on the highway on the way to take an exam. Doing about 65. When I finally get off, the car starts to idle really bad. Idle drops to like 400 rpm, the only way to keep somewhat alive was to rev it to like 2,500 rpm or so. I made it to a gas station and it shut off. I tried turning it on a few times and giving it gas but the idling was the same or it just woudnt turn on. I had to get a tow to go home. The following morning it started uplike if nothing had ever happened. I took it to the shop, they had it for a couple of days and the car was runing fine, they didnt get and trouble codes out of it. At this point I know theres something wrong with the car but w/e it is, it aint completely broken yet. The thing is the car has done this to me like another 2 times after, then it runs fine fora few days. What do you think it could be?[&:]

It could be the mass air meter acting up. try cleaning it with carb cleaner. Also wiggle the maf plug to make sure it is getting a good connection.

go ahead, clean your MAF with carb cleaner, then when it gets TONS worse, go buy a new MAF.
