You splice into the negative side of the coil, a switched 12v source (my amplifier) and a ground, pretty easy install.

Atleast you got the power you need from the radio wire. I tryed using the REM wire (blue amp wire) and the power for the radio, and neither had enough juice to actually light the shift light on my tach. I ended up getting pissed and wiring it straight to the battery with a switch...I gotta turn on the tach when I turn on the car, but I'm used to flippin switches.
